His second most prominent accessory is Yumil, the living bear pelt draped over his right shoulder, which he uses in his final attack against Juliet. His most prominent feature is the large viking axe he holds, which acts as a dual lighting rod system that lets him absorb and control lightning. Vikke's ship then loses control and crashes on the O'Bannon Farm.Īs with the other Dark Purveyors, Vikke's attire is closely tied with his predilect genre of music, noting his helmet with goat horns. Yumil goes in for a final assault, but is taken out with a swift kick. This proves to be in vain, however, as Juilet cuts Vikke's now giant head into a v-shape. At his most desperate, his devours the rest of his body parts in exchage for greater power. Juliet gradually saws off sections of Vikke's body, though he continues to fight relentlessly. Once she and Vikke formally confront each other, a boss fight begins. Cordelia and Juliet execute a maneuver that successfully launches Juliet onto the deck of the ship. Juliet then plans to retrieve the gift and help her sister, which entails following the ship.Īfter Juliet meets up with Cordelia at the swimming pool, where Vikke has temporarily landed his ship, he decides to relocate and heads back up into the sky. After a brief and strained greeting, Cordelia releases a present attached to a parachute. Juliet then notices Cordelia, her elder sister, riding on the back of the ship. Juliet's attention is brought to the cloudy skies as a mysterious ship comes into view, revealing Vikke aboard it. Their conversation is cut short when blood suddenly lands on Nick's face. Fortunately, he's the first of the Dark Purveyors to be slain, so he didn't spread the virus too far.After returning from The Junkyard, Juliet and Nick begin to discuss the very serious issue of Nick's bodiless condition. Zed sent Juliet flying to the junkyard and managed to beat her there, then used his super-speed to infect everyone within minutes and just waited for her. Even though he's one of the most popular boss fights in the game, everyone overlooks the sheer horror of his level. What happens if and when she gets bored or irritated with him? Juliet claims to love him, but she's a teenager with all the mood swings that implies. He's literally just a severed head, completely helpless, and at the mercy of whoever is currently holding him. Some deaths can cause a very depressing Game Over screen, such as one where Nick's head is sitting in front of her grave with a rose (she doesn't rise from her grave in this one), or if you die in the Prologue chapter, the Game Over screen only shows her arm coming out (Nick isn't present) while Nick says in a sad tone, "Juliet. Here, we see Juliet's zombified arm reach out from her grave for Nick's head, while Nick says that he wishes he could've protected her or something equally heartbreaking. Usually in zombie games, the Game Over screen just says "GAME OVER" or "YOU ARE DEAD." This game, however, is different.
His goofy appearance does little to offset the fuel. Just imagine what would've happened if Juliet had lost.
His main goal is to wreck everything in sight. He has one main trait that distinguishes him from the other zombies (aside from looking like Elvis): he's huge. Pretty unsettling if you go a while without noticing. If you look closely at the loading screen for the Mushroom Samba portions of Mariska's level, you can make out her visage flashing in the center of the screen.It perfectly embodies a "bad trip", and just keeps getting more and more unnerving. Mariska's boss fight is possibly the creepiest part of the game.By the time "Rosalind" starts giggling in a horribly creepy fashion, you know something's definitely not right. I mean YOU." It then cuts to black as we hear everyone screaming, followed by a loud *CRUNCH*. If you failed to rescue all classmates, then the cutscene you get after the credits shows everyone coming home to find that Mom is now a zombie.
